2020 has arrived and here we are. Still here!
I have much to be grateful for at the start of this New Year: a charmed life with wonderful people in it, a job that pays me and puts good food on my table, the opportunity to make my art and share it with those around me…friends, family, love… I tell ya, life is good!
And then I read the newspaper and become incensed by what I see. Incensed and worried more than ever about how the rest of 2020 will unfold.
Alas, deep breath… we’re not there yet… so, let’s go to the theater instead!
Carnegie Stage is offering a diverse month of shows this January, starting this weekend with the hilarious sketch comedy group, The Harvey Wallbangers.

I can’t undo what is being done on the world stage, but I can attend to my own stage, living my life fully, making room for more love and less hate, being generous and compassionate and supporting causes that interest or concern me.
Support these artists and their joyful expression of making and sharing art. For today, let that the step you take towards making the world a little brighter.
